8. AI Connection (MCP)

When you connect eRisale to an AI assistant such as Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini, your assistant forwards Risale-i Nur questions to the eRisale server. No account is needed and the server does not identify you.

What reaches the server: your question, the search queries and answer plan the assistant derives from it, the section and paragraph references it asks to read, and the draft answer for source checking.

What we store: your question, the search queries and plan steps, which sections and passages were returned, the chosen language, the assistant's name (for example Claude), the network the connection came from (Anthropic, Google or other) and timings. These records are kept indefinitely and used to improve search quality and source checking.

What we do not store: the answer and the opening paragraph the assistant wrote (only their lengths are recorded), your IP address, your name, an account or device details.

Third parties: for search, the question and search queries are sent to Google's embedding service to compute a meaning vector. Your assistant's own data handling is governed by its provider's privacy policy. The records are shared with nobody else.

We recommend not writing personal information into your questions. Because records cannot be tied to a person, we cannot locate and delete a specific person's records; if you send us the text of your question, we delete that record.
